What’s the Story of Saiyaara?
Saiyaara stars quiet, misunderstood, and withdrawn characters but not in an atypical sense, instead in a shy and romantic sense. The charismatic protagonist is a good and tragic person in the sociological sense; torn and broken. He is talented, emotionally intelligent and an artist by heart. His love interest, Amani, is equally misunderstood and carries the role of a reclusive and reserved writer who carries clouds of despair, adorned in the most muted of dress. In a coincidental music retreat, Vaani and Krish meet. They reach the peaks of romance but the sparks that culminate reaching the peak are quiet. As always; life takes a turn. Another persistent clash of families unravels the so-called love fable that stems from the ordinary and is kept together by complex glue. Between families enforcing rules and expanding the love fable, a car accident ironically becomes the fable. The unions and heartbreaks, everything becomes intertwined like threads of an intricate tapestry, but it doesn’t matter who faces the lows. Krish and Amani fall for each other but face the lows of a fable life; the romance becomes yet another sad turkey.
Surprisingly, the music composed by Krish becomes a solution. Infused in pain, the words that deftly flow, resonate the love that is Krish and Amani. “Thats the language they speak” and it can be the fuel needed to ultimately reach the point of spiritual awaken. In this romantic mission of despair, the only reward the love would irresponsibly slack are the words; “I wait.” Waiting becomes the answer for the pretend love intertwined in the grasp of shallow essense.

Oh this soundtrack? Chef’s kiss. Mithoon’s soul, Sachet-Parampara’s fire, Tanishk’s hooks, Vishal Mishra’s heartbreak. Hurting so good. That title track “Saiyaara”? Already on loop. Already aching.

Final Words
Saiyaara understands it perfectly. Love stories hit different when they are sincere. When they have just the right amount of pain and ache. New talent. Music that grabs at your heart. Genuine emotions, not just performative acts. It doesn’t matter if you like romance films or if you are indifferent to the genre, this one will catch your attention. The music alone justifies the price of the ticket. However, the pang of longing deep in the heart of Krish and Vaani’s tale? That’s the real takeaway. What are you waiting for? Go and watch the movie. For once, let your heart truly get lost.
“Saiyaara… a silent journey of love, an unspoken flight of emotions.”
